As part of PUB’s flagship community celebrations, Marina Barrage hosts a National Day gathering centred on a live LED wall broadcast of the parade.
Expect an afternoon arrival on the green roof, a livestream that follows the official NDP broadcast through the evening, and a wind-down once the show wraps. Exact programme timings can shift closer to the day. Treat the broadcast window as “when the official stream runs,” and arrive early if you want space on the grass.
Around the screening, this year’s setup also includes:
- Sound across Levels 1 and 2, so the broadcast and music carry through the venue, not only the roof
- DJ set before and after the stream, an added layer beyond a silent screening
- Activities downstairs, including community booths and programmes on the lower level

Why the green roof still works in a Sports Hub year

Short answer for 2026: don’t count on it.
With NDP back at the National Stadium, the main fireworks are launched over the Kallang Basin. Marina Barrage is a better pick for the live parade screening and atmosphere than for a front-row fireworks view.
If fireworks are the priority, plan for Kallang. If the priority is watching the show on a big LED wall with friends on the grass, Marina Barrage is the move.

- Check the weather. It’s open-air; pack light rain protection.

Marina Barrage is at 8 Marina Gardens Drive. Public transport is usually easiest on National Day:
- Nearest options typically include Bayfront or Gardens by the Bay, then a short transfer or walk
- Expect heavier foot traffic around Marina Bay from late afternoon
- Driving and parking are often slower on NDP evening, so leave extra buffer if you must drive
